Recycling


Mid Valley Disposal has specific information on recycling on both their website as well as in this flier.


Green Waste


Mid Valley Disposal is very specific on what you can and cannot place in the green waste bin, so if you are unsure if you can or cannot put something in the green waste bin please make sure on their website.


Hazardous Waste


You can dispose of hazardous waste at several different locations and each location accepts a different type of hazardous waste. For exact information look at the Fresno County Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) Network. You can also contact Mid Valley Disposal and they may pick up the hazardous waste, depending on what the waste is.


Batteries/Light Bulbs


You can dispose of batteries and light bulbs at City Hall and at several other different locations as stated by Kingsburg's Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) Network.


Sharps


If you have any used needles, or any other medical equipment that would be considered a "Sharp" you can drop them off at the K-mart Pharmacy. They will properly dispose of the Sharps from there. The Pharmacy is open every day from 8:00 am - 10:00 pm


Prescription Drugs


There is an RX drop off at KPD just next to the front door. if you have any expired or unused prescription drugs that you wish to dispose of you can drop them off here at any time of day, completely free of charge.


Pet Waste


Please remember to clean up after your pets when you are out for a walk or at the Dog Park. Pet waste can be placed in any normal garbage bin or any designated pet waste bins. Leaving pet waste around is both unsanitary and unsightly, do your part in keeping our City clean and beautiful and clean up after your pets.
