Fire Suppression

Kingsburg Fire Department serves a population of approximately 20,000 residents. Approximately 20% of KFD's incidents involve a relation to fire activity. With a wide variety of different environmental hazards, Kingsburg Fire Department mitigates many different natures of fire. This includes residential, commercial, wildland, agricultural and many more. Kingsburg Fire Station 1 staffs 1 engine, 2 rescue ambulances and a cross staffed truck to respond to fire related emergencies within a three (3) county response area. 

Kingsburg Fire is also part of the California Master Mutual Aid System, with an OES type VI engine that is used to assist with wildland fires throughout the state.
