Community CPR & AED

Community CPR & AED Class (Offered at Selected Times)

This hands-on class is part of our department’s ongoing mission to prepare and protect our community. Offered only a few times each year, this course is specifically designed to give more Kingsburg residents access to lifesaving CPR and AED training - no medical background required.

Taught by experienced City of Kingsburg Firefighter/Paramedics, the training provides a safe, supportive environment where you can build confidence and learn essential skills that could help you save a life.


What You'll Learn:

  • Adult, child, and infant CPR techniques

  • Safe and effective use of an AED

  • How to respond quickly and calmly in a cardiac emergency

This course is ideal for:

  • Parents and caregivers

  • Teachers and school staff

  • Coaches, volunteers, and youth leaders

  • Anyone who wants to be more prepared to help in an emergency


Certification Included

Upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive an official American Heart Association CPR & AED certification, valid for 2 years. This certification is included in the discounted course price, making it a valuable and affordable option for members of the Kingsburg community.


Why It’s Different:

This is not a regularly scheduled course - it’s a community-focused initiative offered at a discounted rate to help expand access to emergency training. Sessions are announced a few times per year based on demand and instructor availability.

Minimum age to attend is 16 years.
