The City of Kingsburg has adopted a Façade and Alley Improvement Program that is designed to encourage economic investment and revitalization to buildings all commercial zones in the city. The appearance of individual buildings, storefronts, signs, window displays, parking lots, and sidewalks establishes the visual character of the community and plays a major role in the success of the City.
The Program is designed to encourage physical improvements to a building or business facades visible from the public right-of-way. It is the intent of the Program to strengthen the economic vitality of the community by improving the exterior and interior physical appearances of buildings. The appearance of the community has a significant influence on its economic success. By improving the physical appearance, the community will have a much greater potential for attracting and retaining businesses.
