- Riding e-bikes and motorized scooters on the sidewalks is strictly prohibited in Kingsburg's Central Business District. Please walk your wheels on sidewalks or operate in the bike lane. Pedestrians are not expecting a quickly moving bike/scooter when exiting a commercial building directly to a sidewalk. Riders are unable to see/anticipate someone exiting a commercial building. Motorized scooters are not allowed on sidewalks anywhere.
- Riders under the age of 18 are required to wear helmets when operating a Class 1 and Class 2 e-bike, and for all motorized scooters. All ages are required to wear helmets when operating a Class 3 e-bike.
- Do not park bikes/scooters except at locations authorized for bicycle parking (bike racks, etc.)
- A valid Driver's License is required to operate motorized scooters.
- Double passenger riding on motorized scooters is strictly prohibited.
